Moore-Odom Wildlife Foundation

The Moore-Odom Wildlife Foundation, Inc. was founded in May of 2004. It is named after R.A. Moore and Babette Moore Odom, the grandfather and mother of its founder, R. E. Odom.

The foundation's purpose is the continuation of the lifelong works of its namesakes and founder, namely the conservation, preservation, and protection of all forms of wildlife, as well as their natural habitats.

The Moore-Odom Wildlife Foundation is a section 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt, private operating foundation which is governed by a board of directors.

The Mission Statement

The promotion and advancement of:

(1) conservation, protection and preservation of areas of land, included but not limited to pristine or near pristine areas of land, marsh, wetland and areas of coastal zones of Louisiana and Texas;

(2) preservation of all types of wild nature associated therewith;

(3) natural reserves and other ecologically unique and sensitive areas located in the States of Louisiana and Texas.
